Looking at a Cooper 21 for rodent and paper shooting. The single shot feature suites me fine, but anything I should look out for? Out of box accuracy, trigger quality? I’ve done my googling but looking for personal experience. Thanks

Accuracy is unreal on every single Cooper I have ever owned(8)
Triggers have been some of the best out there
They are heavy, but for your purpose that is a good thing.
Build quality is fantastic as well.
You won't regret buying one, well your wallet might but you wont

I have owned 12 Cooper rifles, the worst accuracy wise was just under moa, and Cooper rebarreled the gun. The rest are sub 1/2moa rifles. No issues with the triggers , I use mine from 2 to 2-1/2 lbs, depending on the usage.

Thanks for the replies. Only two, but every where I look nothing but positive reviews. It seems to be calling me so we’ll see how long I can resist:)

I have a few Coopers in the safe and they are all keepers. No model 21s but I do have a 38 which is a single shot as well. At the time I bought mine the Canadian $ was worth more than the American $ so it helped take the sting out of the purchase. The only thing I will say negative is the ones I have are a slight bit on the heavy side but as I get older I find myself sitting in blinds way more than I do walking so it really isn't an issue.

Apparently my willpower to resist beautiful firearms is very low :) in this instance I actually bought the scope first! You should never do that....
