Cooper rifles ? Are they worth the extra $$

I have a Model 54 in 7-08, A delight to carry at 6.5 lbs plus scope. I took a chance as I too had never handled one prior to buying it, but all the reports I read were glowing. It is the finest rifle I have ever owned for fit, finish, smooth cycling etc. It seems a lot of people who have them have found that they shoot everything well, but mine seems to be fussier. When I found a load it likes, it was impressive- my very last 3 shot group with 140 gr Berger VLD's a couple of weeks ago was the best group I have ever shot at 0.190" but averages .5-.6 MOA. It also seems to be very sensitive to how the gun is held, likely due to it's light weight.

Would I buy another one?-in a heartbeat!
 
Even though I don't own one I have never heard a bad word about Cooper..

I did buy a Kimber, that was near the same price range as the Coopers are, and it had horrible accuracy...I bought it on looks alone, as it had beautiful wood..It wasn't until after I did some research that I found plenty of bad accuracy stories about Kimber. Too bad so sad for me..Lesson learned!
