Cop cuts moose in half with car

Looks like Germany.............

............which does not have moose, as far as I know. They do have a species of large deer, name of which escapes me, but they grow to a pretty impressive size. In my head, I think it is called Red Deer, which is about the size of an elk.

Not that it matters, I suppose, whether it was a moose or a deer or an elk............

IMHO he was using a marginal caliber of vehicle.
Even though his hit placement was spot-on I think he got lucky, the front-half of the moose still ran for 80 yards!.
Just because you "can" use a compact yugo doesn't make it ethical, and their are much better choices for moose such as SUV's or pick-ups.

Since the OP posted this in the hunting forum I figured I'd take it upon myself to follow standard operating procedure.

That was not Germany.

It looks like there are 2 other cops on the side of the road, one looking around aimlessly and one on the phone apparently calling it in. You'd think the aimless cop would be helping his buddy? As opposed to the civilian or soldier in camo wrapping up his head

^It is definately not Germany.
What a mess though, RIP to moose with situational perception problem.

I think somewhere once ruled by the Soviet empire. Where exactly, I don't know

I am certain it is not Germany given that it is my homeland, they were not speaking German and the Police uniform was not German.

I surmised by your handle that this may have been the case. The road sign is of the type used in Germany, and the licence plate on the smashed car is of the type used in Germany, with Roman characters not Cyrillic. Hence my thoughts. Yes I did not think it was German dialogue but it is not clear enough for me to know ("ich sprachen kleines Deutsch")

it's in russia, look at his arm badge at 34 sec.

it's the one on the left

that and they're speaking russian so that helps ;)

Yep it is Russia, more precise somewhere around Moscow (looks like 99 is the region code on the licence plate) That douche was probably making 180 on his crappy Lada to rip the animal like this in half.
