A while back I bought an el-cheapo CORE-15 from Wanstalls.. It was my competition gun (action shooting, no precision stuff). I was really putting it through a ringer.. Cleaned it weekly, used the oft-maligned bore snake, put about 10,000rds through her and most of those were so intense that I had to wear gloves because the handguard was getting too hot to handle. I never ran any real accuracy tests on her, but the buddy I gave it to, just took her to the range to test out a few loads. Now, with Norinco crap ammo he was getting 3.5MOA groups, but with several batches of hand-loads, off sandbags, he started getting groups of 1.2-1.3"... Even some of those 1.2" groups would be along the lines of 0.8MOA with a flyer bringing it out to 1.2. I'm IMPRESSED. Just wanted to give props where they're due.

Yup, the GTO Core is a great budget-conscious American-made AR. Transferrable "No-BS" lifetime warranty too!

Lol well, I kinda bubba'd the upper and had to replace it with a NEA upper, but yeah, she's been very reliable for me.. Already miss her even though I'll be running my Mona Lisa (custom build) as soon as I manage to get it imported.. On an extended stay in South America.. If you thought our gun laws were bad... These people seem to be following the freakshow in Commiefornia and trying to match them idiocy by idiocy when it comes to gun legislation.

do they accept milspec stocks or commercial?

The factory tube on my Core 15 is Commercial diameter.

Love my Core15.

just picked up a sa15.7 (dam thing better arrive today). but a core 15 next on my list. The sa15.7 is not getting modified much, its to be a c8, but a cire 15 would be a great platform to get to do mods to to build up for fun. Cant wait for the cash

The CORE company has its' top of the line "Hardcore" rifles that seem to have garnered great reviews. Very pricey, but comes with an accuracy guarantee. I'd love to try one out, but I don't think there's much market for pricey AR's for companies to bring them in.
