Is Federal really a higher than average culprit here? Would you, for example, be safer running Norinco/MFS/TulAmmo if you planned to put a few thousand rounds down range for practice?

From what I understand federal 223/556 is used much more than any of their rivals, including norinco or mfs especially in the us. And norc ammo has its fair share of issues. I think it's mostly due to the sheer sales volume of federal ammo
