Hey Guys,

What's the correct way to reload an enfield stripper clip? Not putting it in the gun, but the order of cartriges in the clip.

I've heard it's _ - _ - _ with the lines representing the rim of the cartriges. But I've also seen - _ - _ - on the net.

CHARGERS NOT CLIPS!!!:D
Actually John, the CF calls them stripper clips. We call the item you attach to a magazine and insert the stripper clips into a 'mag charger'.

C7 lingo, that is.

(That info + $1.45 = 1 cup coffee) ;)

Yes indeed...you're absolutely right, that's C7 lingo. :)

However, according to the Canadian National Defence publication "Operating Instructions, Rifle, Calibre .303, No 4, All Marks, W/E 1005-21-107-2101" issued 1984-09-14 on Authority of the Chief of the Defence Staff:-

2. Loading the Rifle - To load the rifle, with the magazine installed, proceed as follows:
a. Disengage the safety catch;
b. Raise the bolt handle and pull the bolt fully rearward;
c. Position a full magazine charger in the body charger guide;
d. Push all five rounds down into the magazine with steady thumb pressure until the top round is positioned under the magazine lip;
e. Remove the magazine charger.
f. Push the bolt fully forward, locking the breech; and
g. Apply the safety catch.

That's Lee-Enfield lingo. :D
