Okay, let's say you want to build an oddball rifle like an 8x63 Swedish.
The only brass you can find to date is milsurp that is Berdan primed with a disclaimer saying they have corrosive primers and you need to clean the barrel right away after each use.
Don't get me wrong, I like to take good care of my toys, but I am curious what the barrel life is like using these primers even when you do keep the barrel clean.
Has anyone gone to the effort to convert a berdan primed case to boxer? Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Noel
