Anyone ever bought this reproduction scope mount and scope for SVT-40s with notch?
How does it hold up, is it of decent quality?

west rifle as them to ,i used a repro mount on my svt it worked great .used locktite in the grove for the mount ,slid it on and that was it ,fired several hundred rounds and it as not moved.
there have been lots of treads about these mounts ,not holding zero ,moving, rear notch damage, cross pin not fitting in original made sniper notch, and the list goes on.
The cross pin notch as to be filed at the rear of the receiver,if you go this route ,go slow and dont make it to big a little at a time.

Do you know if the westrifle ones are the same as the Corwin ones?
My SVT actually has a notch, probably from Soviet times, so hopefully it's a good fit. There are reports of scopes damaging notches??
