I know it's been asked before but didn't know if there is any new advice on removing cosmo of my CZ that is in the mail.

Field strip and drop the whole thing in as vat of varsol(aka mineral spirits) for 24 hours. Wipe off.

my CZ858 was not in cosmo , just heavy oil , i just wiped it off with a rag.

Try Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber Solvent/Degreaser which is 99% Trichloroethylene - best to dissolve any oil. A little bit expensive.

Varsol, someplace well ventilated or outside.

I just thought it was funny, because I have rage wiped guns trying to get them clean Or wiped them with furious rage..
