Cost for bushnell elite scopes?

Seen one store selling a used 4200 2.5-10x40 for $275. Also selling new 4500 4X 2.5-10x40 for $350. Another store had model 3500 3-9x50 for $260 and sold out of the 3500 3-9x40 for $225
 
I paid 249.99+tx for Bushnell Elite 3500 3-9x 50mm 1 year ago (the last ones that were made in japan). Its an OK scope, I want to upgrade though

nice score and you got some rings and a level too. These Japanese made Elites are really amazing scopes for the price, unfortunately it wasn't until they were no longer available that I realized that.

Ya had a bushnell elite lrhs and sold it because I liked the nikon prostaff and monarch better.now everyone is wanting the old elite Japan optics and willing to pay retail.i can't remember all the blowout sales they had on them.that being said my buddy asked me to get him a used elite lrhs or lrts to replace his ancient dusk til dawn but and when I got back to him with price he said nope.but will keep looking for a good used hunting scope for him.you never know.i find it hard to pay alot on a used hunting scope knowing what mine have been through.
 
Bushnells are good no frills scope I have one I bought in 2004 or 2005 that sits on my 223 now (Banner/Dust to Dawn) it tracks holds zero as it should. Also picked up the new China version of the 4500 4x and its very good
