Cost of registering a firearm

I've been trying to find out how much it costs to register a firearm without any success. I was told there is a fee you need to pay every year for each firearm you own. Is this true and if so what are the fee's for a rifle?

None that I know of.

who ever told you that is way out of date ... no fees for registering , only fees are for a first time Possession and Acquisition License

There was originally going to be a cost of 20 per firearm but it was later scraped. They also were going to charge per transfer but that fell through as well. Cost is 0

There's no charge for an individual to register a firearm.

There's a HUGE cost to the taxpayer however.

The cost to register is the value of any guns you put into the government system.

This is because the only purpose for registration is confiscation. It has happened plenty in the past, and government sanctioned theft will only increase in the future.
