I know to me it sure looks like the way to go. At savage shooters they keep saying changing these barrels on savages is about as hard as changing oil in your car.
One of these days I am going to buy all the tools I need to get started and let the fun begin. Either a vanilla 243 or 6br. To complement the 22-250 it is today. Then maybe 338 federal, it just sounds like a bunch of fun to me.
They say getting that barrel nut off the first time can be a pain in the onions, but easy from then on.
