Cost to reload 300 RUM...anyone know?

Hey, I just sold my rifle and I told somone I would sell my remaining factory ammo for the cost of the components.....about 100-140 rounds +/-

Anyway, assuming you were using virgin reminton brass and 200 gr. Partitions, about what would it cost to load up a box?

Thanks guys!

Based on 90gr of powder, you'd 1/4lb (9.00)
Partition are $1.00 each (20.00)
Brass $1.40 each $28.00
primers .80

Not cheap you might say?

Nope, not cheap, that's for sure....but at 57.00 + tax it's still waaaay cheaper than what factory ammo costs now  LOL, I'm glad I bought in bulk before prices went up :)

Thanks very much for the info!

On the weekend I just figured out cost to reload 284 win, and 308 win, using new brass and premium bullets. $2.15 a round for 284, and $2.08 for 308. That is using nosler partitions in the 284, and barnes TSX in the 308. Once you have the brass, your cost per round goes down by about .80 to $1.00 depending on brass cost. Remember 7000 grains per pound of powder to calculate powder cost. But remember what your time is worth, if you have a busy schedule!!
