Cougar on acreage, what gun?

If he isn’t gone and you are attempting to be less lethal I haven’t met one critter who came back after an ass full of rock salt from the 12 g. Worked on more than one bear in the past.

If they come back, the next one won’t dissolve on contact.

Sniff... sniff...

I think I smell a fish story somewhere around here.

Rock salt isn’t going to penetrate a bear’s fur and hide beyond 5 yards.
