I bought some aim 147 grain at a match and they do not feed well in my stock 2. The nose of the bullet is hitting the rifling and I do not want to reduce the overall length too much as it might affect my pressure. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent 9mm bullet for the stock 2 that can be purchased in bulk.?

Been a Stock 2 user almost from the time they got to Canada. Was using Frontier bullets first, now Cam-Pro because of availability. Have also used Canadian BDX. I have used 124 and 147grn with no issues.
One thing to note is that when I bought the Stock 2 I had to lower the OAL from when I shot a SIG. This is because the chamber was very tight on the Stock 2
One NB shooter I know has 2 - Stock2's and the chamber on the two barrels are different in that one is tighter than the other.

I am thinking of going with a 124 grain rather than 147 grain. The bullets are shorter and if I have to reduce overall length for them to feed they will not reduce case volume as much as the 147 grain.

Measure the length of bullet your gun will chamber with the 147 grain bullets and then check to see what the reloading manuals are suggesting for OAL. For 124 gr bullets I load to 1.10. My 147 gr 356637 cast boolits have to be loaded to 1.048 according to Lyman and this is what I use.

The AIM 9MM 124 gr bullets have a very long shank more useful in the .38super cartridge. The won't load in my CZ's at 1.10 and I won't load that bullet shorter for fear of raising pressures. They do run fine in my M&P however at 1.10. The CZ and Tanfoglios have very short leads which cause the problem the OP is encountering.

124gr BDX,...147gr Campro (new design...not old ones)..or 147gr Speer plated...( I am partial to the Speer plated ammo that Canadian BDX has made over the years...).
I am getting 124gr BDX, and 147gr in either Speer or BDX projectiles delivered in the new year...FYI.
You used the 124gr BDX at the 2009 Nationals I believe...?
Now that I am using an OPen gun to play around with (tanfoglio).....I will also be using the 124gr BDX for my 38 super ammo. Can't go wrong....no one has issues with it...just about every Open shooter locally (NB and NS) will be using the BDX projectiles.
When the 147gr BDX bullet is released,...it will be VERY popular...."Resistance,...is futile!"
