Hello,

A co-worker found these 2 rifles in his father's basement, can you put a price on these? Are they at least worth the shipping fees if he gives them away?
Thanks
OK

Mossberg Model 195 bolt action shotgun, if it is 12ga. M190 if 16ga, M185 if 20. Maybe $150 - IF it has the magazine. Pain to try to find a magazine.
Cooey 75. $100.

Definitely worth shipping: Shotgun looks like a Mossberg or Stevens (20ga?). These were made post ww2 into the 1950s and aren't particularly valuable, just functional piece worth about 200-250. Magazines might be difficult to get now and it missing cut the price. The other one is a Cooey 75... in that condition I'd guess about 100. They both have obvious cosmetic damage and assuming the bores are good, you'd probably see priced thereabouts.

If the inside of barrels is as bad as the outside, $25.00-$50.00 each especially with no magazine.

Cleaned up with a magazine and if the barrels are bright and shiny inside maybe $100.00 each

Of course he could always sell it the the people that said they were worth much more.

Cooey 75 or a SureShot (Based on a 75 made by Cooey for Simpson Co. 1940-1960ish)

Gotta be markings on both rifles I'd think.

$300 would be mawr'in generous.
$200 would be a challenge.
Freight would be 'bout right.

The missing clippahhzeen could be a tuff find.
The Cooey iff'in it shewts and ejects might be worthy of a stock redo.
Trunk muhnkeys t'utherwise.

Post numero dewce sums it up rather well.

Without a magazine you'd be lucky to get $50 for the bolt action shotgun. Gun show traders want an arm and a leg for a mag.
Cooey single shot .22 is maybe worth $100 to $125 if the bore is good.

Both of them showing lots of neglect - scratched and battered stocks, exterior rust, shotgun missing magzine - less $50.
If the bores are excellent you might get $100 each with no magazine. If the insides look like the outsides anything over $75 each is a stretch.
