Counterfeit Vortex Venom!?

I just placed an order for a very well priced Vortex Venom off Ebay which is supposed to be in new condition (with opened box). I thought the packaging looked convincing or someone went into a lot of trouble to counterfeit not only the red dot but also the elaborate packaging!?

The seller is from China but so is vortex lol so I know how much of an indication that is!?

What do you think; score or fake?

Sometimes you get lucky, and the company that makes them for a certain brand is selling them out the back door, so to speak. Warranty likely useless in that instance though. You'd really have to know the product to tell whether its genuine or not. Hopefully it works well for you.

The Venom is made in the Philippines makes me wonder about the China connection? the Viper is made in China.
