I have a bunch of once fired brass I was thinking of selling here on the forum but how do you go about counting it all?
I can't see myself sitting there and counting it all out by hand.
I was thinking of selling it buy the pound to make like easier.
It's all 40,brass and nickel and 223.

Is the .223 crimped? What brand brass is it?

It's all once fired range pick up's.
I have about 5 gallon's of Winchester crimped .223
About 2/3 of a garbage can full of Winchester .40, no crimp
About 3 gallon's of nickel plated Winchester .40 no crimp
I'm doing research about using the 40 cal to make bullet jacket's for my 45 Win Mag.

I don't have a scale, and the scrap yard's a lot closer to me then the post office

Well if thats the case, I'll give you $.25 more per LB than the scap dealer for the .223and I'll pay postage! :D

Last I checked scrap brass was worth $.35/lb and 1xf .223 brass was $40/1000 plus shipping.

I have a little over 2K of .223 brass and it all fits in a 25 liter Rubbermaid tote.

Cheers!

Get a $15 scale from The Source, weigh 100 cases and go from there.
I don't count even loaded ammo anymore, I go by weight, but again, I know what 100rds of my ammo weigh :D

if you have any 44 or 45 plastic holders that come with new rounds in the cardboard box
you know the ones every one throws out at the range (has to be the one where rounds will not fall through)

you can scoup a handfull out over a bucket and pour them over the plastic holder fill in the odd one left empty and you have just counted out 50
