I am new to handguns and started buying from re-loader. I shot a couple thousand 9mm rounds of his stuff and every round fired perfect. I bought a 1000 online recently from a different outfit and got to take a couple hundred to the range today. 2 of them jammed the #### out of my nice shadow. Had to strip it down and pry the round out of the barrel. LAME! Whats up with this?

Stick with Custom Reloading. John and Brad turn out excellent quality stuff.

So the two rounds were never fired? If you have the barrel out of the gun, can the ammo drop into the chamber freely? Any difference in the OAL between the new and old ammo?

They did not fire. They jammed in the barrel tight and the trigger would pull but not operate and the slide was stuck. It was hard to remove the slide on the second time. They would not freely drop in. I noticed one as it fed as it was the first in the mag...it didn't feed right. OAL...I threw them away at the range in the dud can so IDK.

Also..they looked fine by eye.

Thanks for your post. It made me think. I have checked 200 rounds in the removed barrel and can see that most will seat and drop freely where a few are hard to remove. I will not shot the tight rounds.
