Are there some designs or products currently available for covered firing points for shelter on our new Bunker? Covered firing points appear common in Europe--buts there a U.S. or Norht American manufacturer known to any reader?

Many thanks-

Hi Hal,

Congratulations on your new bunker - is it the one at Cardinal Ctr.? If so, I can't wait to try it out in two weeks or so.

I don't have any blueprints and I don't know of a specific manufacturer, but I can drive to Toronto Intl. (80 miles from here, not a big deal) and take some pictures for you. Let me know if that would help.

Hal :

You might also look at the Toronto International Trap & Skeet Club's website,
www. titsc.ca there is a good aerial photo, (green roof) plus some photos in Olympic Trap & the Our History drop down boxes.

As to "manufacturers" ... any of the prefab steel building contracters (like Butler, etc. ) should be able to help. Basically steel support beams, trusses and a steel roof. Built somewhat stong up here for a heavy winter snow load and to withstand the occassional windstorm. As I recall, the underside of the trusses and roofing were sprayed after completion with an inch thick coat of urethane low density foam to dampen some of the noise.

Regards ... BB

Thanks BB - I got Hal all kind of pics from t**sc including the foam underneath, you are right about that too :)

Cheers
