ThanksI do have some new info as I went ahead and bought it anyways as It is a fine old gunnand you cant have too many, made in 1910.Howdy
The Parker may be "allright" for CAS.
But more info is required to give you a good answer.
How old is the gun?..........If it breaks are parts available?
Is it damascus or steel barrels? Steel for smokeless loads. Damascus black only. A good smith should check it out.
Does it have ejectors? If so they must be disabled. Extractors only for CAS.
What is the barrel length and is it bored for 2 3/4" shells? Some folks like long barrels but most shoot coach guns.

This is a very important point, I have a beautiful English 1912 side-by-side, the break open spring is broken, pretty much a dismantled paper weight at this point, no one even will make the spring.
