Well rain did not stop a great shoot put on by the Saskatchewan Association of Wild West Shooters, in Saskatoon. A good turnout with weather that, well enough said, three posies could be setup. Day one we did not get through all the stages as it was pouring, day two we managed that, with a continual mix of rain and sun. But Cowboys persevere, and always CAS is great fun, with a great bunch of people, thanks to all those who did the hard work to make this possible.

It was a good turnout considering the weather, I got soaked and I stayed under cover most of the time, good to see everyone again though.

I was shocked we got as many shooters as we did. Driving out there I was wondering how many of us demented souls would take part.

Those must have been Saturdays photos. I think Doc Thompson was wearing his clown pants on day one. Day two was nice. Save for the intermittent showers.

The SAWWS executive putting on the shoot were extremely happy with the turn out. A big thank you to all the shooters for coming out and making thing work and SMLC for letting us host the shoot at their range.

Well, you shamed us into shooting in the rain on Saturday.
Smaller group than usual and we set up my chrony to get some FPS numbers on members reloads.
I brought a calculator and worked out the power factor under SASS rules.
Surprising!
