?coyote calling and other predators

just got a bunch of the primos predator calls and the mastering the art off calling dvd. I think iv'e got the basics down with the actuall calling down but i don't really have a clue where to head out and try calling. Im from the vancouver area. I tried one day for an hour or so up sylvester road just outside mission but with no luck. ANY TIPS ON WHEN AND WHERE WOULD BE MUCH APRECIATED. THANKS AND HAPPY HUNTING

Go out in the evenings and try a few Howls in the areas you think may hold Yotes. If you get some "replies" go back the early morning or late afternoon and try "calling" them in. I just took one almost near noon so they will come at any time of day

I seem to see the most around natural clearings, frozen ponds, lakes bordering bush and or Grasslands. If you can get Permission some Local Farm land "stubble fields" are a favourite Haunt as well.

It only took me 2 Winters to actually CALL in and shoot my 1st so don't give up too quickly, it may come easy for you or may require alot of effort

I can't think of where to go down there where people may not have educated them already. I have myself hunted up Sylvester many years ago with no such luck.

Eventually you should connect.

Anywhere that has some open area with nearby cover should be where you focus. Try lots of howls. The breeding season is approaching.
