Didnt know where to post this, so Im going to try here

Im looking at making my own E caller, but before I go any further and start buying a couple things I would need for this project. I want to be able to find and download some real good quality howls, hurt pup, challenges, rabbit distress those kind of sounds. Not looking for any bad mp3 recordings. I found a few here and there but not quite the quality that should be out there.

So can any of you guys help me out and know of a good place to start looking for good quality calls to download?

thx

Yeah I think I read that they are in a different format, probably in something only Foxpro plays.

Did find a couple more wav files lastnight that dont sound too bad.

I can`t help you, but keep looking! I know my buddy downloaded a pile of sounds onto his phone and they sound great...so with that said, they are out there.

Foxpro calls are in .fxp format.... you can download many for free off of the foxpro website.... If you look around you may be able to find software that will conver them to something....

Try a site called varmintals he has a huge range of sounds for free and instructions on several DIY e callers.

Right on guys thanks alot. Ill have to check those places out.

Well it looks like I should be able start getting my stuff to make my E caller, since there seems to be plenty of downloadable calls out on the web.

Ill give an update when I get her running.

I thought I would ask here instead of making another thread for it.

From what I can find is Coyotes vocal range for howls/barks is 470-7400 hz range. I tried looking up the range of a rabbits squeals but could find much info for it. I know it would be alittle higher in the range but want I dont know. Any of you guys know off hand? lol

I got a bunch from western. So far I think they sound the best.

Let me know what your buddy thought of them blasting out in the field.
