Hey guys

Ive been doin quite a bit of research lately on my first rifle. i will mainly be using it for Coyotes, i really like the Thompson Centers.

what do you think:
Encore pro hunter in .243 or .270
and the Venture or Icon in 22-250

i really like all 3 of these especially the Encore. just want to here some first hand experience of what you guys think.

You cannot go wrong with any of the firearms you listed. My choice since I bought one this winter is the Savage Axis. If you’re new to shooting what you save with purchasing the Savage Axis over your choices go out and buy a 22lr and shoot that to practice. It will be cheaper to shoot the 22lr and it is good to learn with. And just for coyotes start with a 223, unless you are going for deer, moose, or bear, then get the 270.
