A 40lb. Wolf doen't stay that small for long they grow fast have larger Muzzles and Feet. Wolf barks and Howls are alot deeper than a coyotes. When you hear a Wolf you know it's something big. As I said I am outside of Gravenhurst, 2 summers ago we could hear Wolves howling every night between 9 and 11, for about a week or so. It was soo neat there is a large swamp across the road from me and you could hear them all echoing around the swamp, Erry but Magical all at the sametime. I only saw them once 3 of them moving across the bottom of the swamp one wintery evening.

The camp I hunt in is about 3 miles from you bear.23 - let me tell you, the place is infested with damned wolves since this garbage in the park about no hunting or trapping. There was a ton of sign in the bush last fall, and we heard them every night.

wolves kill yotes.... if you hear a howl and the yotes shut up good chance you have a wolf around... if you find blood and a chewd up yote carcase you KNOW you have wolves around.
Coyotes roam about in the federal townsite of Jasper Alberta. They know if they go out of the townsite, Ol. Big Bad is gonna have nice meal. The same thing appears to happen with grizzlies and black bears. I saw the leftovers of a black bear out of Babine Lake in B.C. My friends daughter described the kill the best. Eeeewwwww.
