OK, No c-clip.

How the hell did they get this thing on there, and how the hell do I get it off?

Anyone knwo what I'm talking about? Looks almost like they inserted the pin then pinched the end to make it a permanent fixture.

Just wondering if there is an easy way to swap out my cover without having to cut the damn thing off.

i couldnt find a way with mine, so i left it alone. Looks like cutting it is the only way to me.

****ty, I guess I'm in the same boat. Bought a cover only to discover I'd have to chop the damn thing off.

Maybe I'll just leave it be as well.

Use one of those dremel cutting bits?

And be very patient.

You can get the pin, spring and clip from Wolverine or Brownells for a couple of bucks - but yeah, the Chineses just pinched the pin to stop it from sliding out

Well now I need a dremel or an angle grinder.

This quick and cheap swap is no longer cheap or quick.

You can get it off/out without cutting if you take the barrel off.
