Geez I havent used my radio in about 8 years. They are sitting on a shelf in the garage. We used them alot for communication on different trails in the mountains while 4x4n.
 
jeepers... when I saw that CQ CQ CQ it brought back memories of the good ol days running "extra's" on my UPD858C PLL and shooting skip all night on the SSB my 25 kilocycle slider and voice compressor on the old D104...400 watts of tubes a moonraker IV and on the odd occasion an MRF454 based linear amplifier...ICOM IC25A in the car doing crystal hunts from little mountain in Vancouver... those were the days... now look at me... wake up every Saturday morning and I go unload a couple hundred shells of some kind... where has the time gone...

Geez, all I have are some 2 meter rigs, an Atlas 210x (with base station), a Swan 260 and my homebrew QRP rig based on a 6aq5 pentode (rock bound on 80 meters). 100 watts and under, that's me!
 
I am From Bancroft Ont, Excellent hunting area and a very good gun club. We enjoy the area and conserve where we can.

As mentioned, Bancroft,Ont is an excellent area to conservately hunt and appreciate what nature provides. Canadian Gun Nuts certainly provide the knowlede and dissapline to enjoy what we have in Canada.
