Anyone know where I can find the specs on these 3 so I can compare. I am particularly interested in twist rate and barrel material etc. and any other differences also opinions on which is better thanks

i dont know the specs, but if you can find the specs for one i do believe they are identical. with the exception that the DA556 has a quadrail. both are made by the same manufacturer in china, the DA is just stamped differently for CanAm's in house brand.

According to the owners manual, this rifle is rated for the SS109/M193/M855S cartridge...so perhaps that info relates to the twist rate.

My DA556 seems to be a quality piece. I suspect that you can't go wrong either with CanAm or Marstar...it just depends on what options you want.

Based on a bit of Wikipedia research, my guess is that these rifles will have a 1 in 7 or 1 in 9 twist, based on current. NATO standard. The old 1 in. 12 twist has been out of fashion for quite a while...

If I remember correctly the barrel is a 1 in 7 cold hammer forged and chrome lined, the chamber is 5.56.
