cq receiver slop

well I went out with my friend to shoot our Ar's. I got the Cq 556 and his was a Bushmaster.

i have a bit of play between the upper and lower, not to much but the Bushmaster was so sloppy that it rattles when you shake the rifle. Mine was $699 his was $1400 plus.

I was truly disturbed at the fit of that Bushmaster, he told thats nothing, he's in the Canadian Forces and the C7's that they got our alot looser than this.

He can get a rubber bushing that will take away the slop. But the sights and barrel are on the upper, so in practice the slop does not really matter much.

My issued C7A1 has huge reciever slop. That said last few times I have shot it I have broken 560. It shoots just as well if not better than my Stag which is as tight as I would ever want in a service rifle. So I don't worry about it.
