CQ311 Question

I recall a thread dealing with placing other make uppers on a Norc AR lower, however, I cannot find it. Has anyone tried using other uppers on the Norc lower? If so, please provide any comments as to compatability.

Used a Norinco upper on a DPMS lower... worked fine..

the only difference is that the threads are all metric. anything that is threaded wont thread on, IE buffer tube, screws, front sight, flash hider, barrel nut

I use a number of different uppers on my 311 (with different barrel lengths) without any problems. Some are a bit tighter fitting than others, but they all work perfect.

I have an Armalite upper on my CQ311 and it works just fine.

Thanks for the comments. I have been toying around with getting one. Now I think I will.
