You should post this in the "Action Shooting Games" section of the forum as well.

Plenty of shooters (who hang out on that forum) would be interested in this type of match.

I'll talk to the guy that run the Guelph weather machine, I hope he's not related to the guy that works at the Borden weather machine. My kit took two days to dry out after the last match.

Just to clarify; no holster qualifications are required to participate in this match. You do not draw a loaded handgun.

I would totally come to this match if I wasn't out of the country that week, missing the CQB Championship too :( Hopefully this goes well and there is more CQB events at Guelph...

I was gonna go and shoot, but I've got an M14 clinic to deliver up in CFB Petawawa. :D

Thanks for putting this on because the S.W. Ont black rifle dudes need some more matches to get out and have fun! :)

Cheers and keep helping the newbies...

If everyone is there for between 0800 and 0820 I think we'll be ok. I'm going to set up most of the stuff in advance so there shouldn't be much to do the morning of the match.
I'll even loan Onagoth a pen, but he'll have to share it with who ever else loses, forgets, eats, or misplaces theirs.
I just checked the registration page, it should be ok. There are a few required fields, so maybe that's the problem. tyx147 PM inbound.

Forgot to ask, is surplus ammo ok?
Surplus ammo is very ok. Card board targets, big dirt berm and a little brass policing when we're done shooting.

Everyone up to this point that has indicated a problem registering has been PM'd and added to the list. I'll see about building a new registration form.

Sign up doesn't work for me on two different computers. When you enter your information it goes to a screen that says "Are you sure you want to do this?". I asked myself if I was sure and thought yes but had no option to proceed. :D

Strange, it works for some and not others. Any way PM inbound.

Sounds like fun. Limited to 5 rounds per mag of. 223?
Yes .. sorta. LAR/beowolf mags etc are allowed. But there are mandatory mag changes and a specific number of rounds per match. So you'd only put 5 (sometimes 4) in a mag, or your literally trowing away points during a mag change.
