Here we go, that should do it for now :

4)Homemade coroplast stencil :

I wanted to get the full size stencil done first in case I would lack time for this project. My goal is to get a rectangular stencil that only covers let's say the 4 points zone and spray it only one color. This way it would be cheaper, faster to make copies and allow me to get a better feel of the score of each shots.

Of course, suggestions are welcome.

Thats actually really cool.

One suggestion is if you find yourself wanting to make the process faster, go out to you local office supply depot, staples, buisness depot, etc, and buy a whole bunch of their black bristol board. Then all you need to do is paint on the white with the stencil. $1.00 a target, and just use patches to make it last longer.

Speaking of that, how did you come across the stencil? Did you buy it or make it? Where and how to either answer?

To make the stencil I had a actual target shipped to me(Thanks, you know who you are) and proceed to cut it as to make a "paper" stencil. Then I put this "paper" stencil over a coroplast board and get all the countours done with a magic marker. Final step was to cut it out with a exacto blade.

It worked so well that I plan to make myself more stencil with different target types to keep shooting interesting.

Excellent Idea...I wonder if a roll of roofing paper could be used for the target..Stiff, water resistant, and on a roll..and cheap enough I guess..

hhhhmmm figure 14 coming up..

...Or reverse the stencil and just paint the black portions and leave the cardboard 'natural' colored - it would better resemble the fig. 11 and then you just use black and tan pasters

You can't reverse the stencil, all those white portions that you see have to be connected to something.

I think he means another stencil, but with the white parts you see on the current ones being the cutouts.

Honestly, I think it'd be much easier just to use black bristol board.:p
