NOTE: All competitors must understand french, since the day is run in french only. It is for practical reasons, anybody who attended a CQB match knows that there is not time to run this bilingually.

I see in the attachment i received in the email that we need a retention holster? Is a kydex concealment holster enough or we absolutely need retention i.e. Serpa or safariland als?

It needs a level 1 type retention (AKA:friction). For example a Fobus holsters is good to go.

Most kydex tactical holster meets this criteria.

This rule is there mainly to avoid people showing up with IPSC holsters.

I will scour your list of shooters and see if the experienced clinic shooters from the Petawawa CQB Clinic were there with you. I noticed we had many french CQB brothers at my clinic and I was pushing them at that time. So let's see this list. ha ha ha ha Hey it's all good!
