I heard at yesterday's CQB match that there will be a new prize given to the most improved shooter for this season, so I decided to collect all my CQB scores and see my progression. Seems I am pretty stable around the 300 to 350 points mark, and stuck in the lower half of the Operator Class, with 2 times under 300 because I had severe malfunctions with the rifle/ammo. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the championship this year (Match 7) since I am out of the country, but I still have Match 8 (and maybe 9) to improve my annual average. After I am done with this year matches I will tabulate all these results in an Excel spreadsheet and start getting more detailed stats so I can really start improving on my weak areas in 2014. This year my rifle scores have gone up but my pistol is been pretty bad, so I got to practice at the range a lot more. My goal for 2014 is to improve my scores and get in the 350 to 400 points range.

CQB Matches Stats:

2012 (Avg: 323 / 28th)

Match 3: 301 (28th) (Operator)
Match 4: 323 (29th) (Operator)
Match 5: 260 (30th) (Operator)
Match 6: 382 (17th) (Operator #1)
Match 7: 351 (34th) (Operator)

2013 (Avg: 324 / 30th)

Match 2: 288 (51th) (Rookie)
Match 3: 306 (29th) (Operator)
Match 4: 352 (23th) (Operator)
Match 6: 344 (26th) (Operator)
Match 8: 329 (23rd) (Rookie)

Average: 323 / 29th

Does anyone else collect their own personal statistics for CQB and what are your goals for this year and next year? Of course, nothing serious; I love CQB because is a relaxed environment where I can have lots of fun. Last thing I want is to start worrying to much about scores and stuff, but I do want to improve my shooting :)

Cheers guys!

Started tracking my performance this year. Its the first year I have been able to get out consistently. It's a great game with some really good people involved in it. Good luck with your goals for 2014.
