In regard to CQB the best optics for me are a 1 to 6 power max. Typically I am running at 3x max on stages. Lots of guys run red dots or some use irons.

What do you guys think about the Bushnell 1-4x 24mm Throw Down PCL (illuminated)??

1-4 is a good range. I shoot the entire match using 3X when standing and max power when prone. A 2-7 would be perfect for me.

CQB distances range from 10m to 50m. Unless you have a very poor eye sight, magnification is not needed for CQBs. More weight and slower target acquisition

red dots/holo sights are seen on 90% of the setup. I personnaly run Aimpoint PRO

For a good challenge: iron sight !

Get a holosun/vortex/burris/etc.... red dot. Works very well up to 300 yards. If you have trouble 200-300 with just the dot, you can add a 3x magnifier and still have great, quick target acquisition with red dot and unlimited eye relief along with a flip to use magnifier for longer shots (if needed)
