The CR600W showed up today. I think I love this CO2 .22 CR600W. I it so light and handy yet has a length of pull and cheek rest that fit wonderfully, it shoulders nicely and is supper comfortable with my eye lining up just right with the iron sights.

I haven't chronographed it yet but it did damage my lighter weight pellet trap at short range and seems to have a bit of punch to it. Shooting standing with iron sights at a limited 5m range it put 65 shots into a dime sized hole. I drained the CO2 at that point as it was clearly now dropping off.

The magazine worked flawlessly with cheap daisy hollow points as did the single shot tray. Bolt cycles well and the trigger is light if a bit vague. Safety very positive in it's function. Overall I is a fantastic gun for $175 plus shipping and GST.

I like this thing so much I think I might sell off my 22xx guns and make these Artemis/Diana guns my thing, in fact I just ordered a .25 PP800 with extra 16" .25 barrel from Airguns Archery Fun and I have a Chaser inbound from elsewhere with a few other parts. These things will mix and match like a lego set.

The collector/hoarder in me wants a LR700W now to ;)

I wonder how it is to make these PCP instead of C02? C02 rifles are usually hard on C02 cylinders, and can get expensive to shoot.I want to get into some cheap plinking fun, with some Artemis PCP guns.You can get a cheap Chronograph for 30 or 40 dollars and they work quite well.I use a cheap one to keep my gas pistols under 500 fps.I want a pp700s in 22 caliber, as i just got my pump in the mail from Amazon.I like backyard plinking, and have lots of different pistols for that.Further back in the bush,,i can shoot my powder burning Anshcutz's at farther ranges.I built a 80 yard range, but need to build one for 150-200 meters, for my 22 magnums.

I also have a CR600W with a Stormrider PCP tube, valve, and filler. However, I have not had a chance to shoot it yet as I'm waiting for some PCP filling components.

Airguns Archery Fun in Sask sells both the CO2 and PCP version of the CR600W, that is where I got mine from.

Thanks.I bought a PP700 with a 16 inch barrel and threaded for a silencer.I mainly shoot only C02 pistols to save on cartridges, as rifles cost me more to shoot C02, and pistols are backyard friendly. I am Glad Airgun archeryfun is in Sask, as it is a lot closer to BC for shipping.

Ran 14 shots though the chronograph with a full 200bar charge in the CR600W/Stormrider (CR600W hammer spring, Stormrider spring should bump the performance up to ~800fps but at the cost of less shots and more noise) today;

When I first got the rifle it measured ~620fps with it around 90bar so I think the Lane regulator works quite well.

Hand pumping takes about 70 pumps to go from 100bar to 200bar full charge.

My PP800 PCP in .25 cal arrived from Airguns Archery Fun today. I'm quite impressed with it so far, looks very nice, grip feels good and the trigger is great. Needs a better magazine and single shot tray which Wes says will be coming. I haven't had a chance to shoot it much yet but it is the first airgun I've had that required hearing protection when shooting indoors. It made my ears ring when I first shot it without protection. Shot count is about 10, it drops from 200bar to 100bar with 10 shots but it only takes 35 pumps (once the pump is up to 100bar) to get back to 200bar. I took the option of having an Altaros regulator fitted by Wes which seems like it does a good job.

Thinking of fitting this into a CP2 stock and using it as a grouse gun. It has almost twice the muzzle energy of my 1322 and I don't think I've ever shot as many as 10 shots on grouse while hunting with a 1322 so it might be good for that.
