Here are some pictures of my 870. I am really pleased at how it looks and functions. I am really surprised how accurate slugs are out to 50 yards (that's as far as I have shot slugs to date). The bracket I made for the light is rock solid and the Princess Auto light is bright and functions without a hiccup under recoil.
It was great fun working on it. The gun was in really rough shape but a little TLC and it's ready to rock and roll again. Eventually I would like to get a 26" or 28" vent rib barrel with removable chokes for hunting season.
I would like to thank the guys at CRAFM who gave me such an excellent deal on my 870. I had so much fun I wish I could have been able to buy more at the time.
I would also like to thank SCOTTIE on this board, he gave me a great deal on the mag extension, plus he is great to deal with as well.
Last but not least I would like to thank WILLWAGSPAL for the Remington stock set with the R3 recoil pad, great to deal with.
I would not hesitate to deal with these people again...........
