Hi All
can anyone tell me how the crates come packaged...is it discrete..and is there 2 spam cans inside the wooden crate? I ordered one and am having it shipped to work...don't want the receptionist to freak out :) I tried calling and also sent an email, but if figured someone here should be able to answer this pretty quick.

thanks

My crate of 7.62x54r came wrapped in a sheet of corrugated cardboard and then wrapped in brown wrapping paper. But however it comes packaged it should have 1.4s dangerous goods warning labels on it. Yes there is usually 2 spam cans inside, but it depends on what you ordered. Apparently some new Norinco 223 and 308 comes in commercial boxes packed in a plastic bag inside the wooden crate.

I'm not too sure, didn't think to look at it, mines the 7.62 though not 223. 1200 primer checks you'd think I'd have noticed the writing lol

ahh im more interested in the .223 ones.
ill find out when it gets here.
i ordered some from here and there... just wondering what the difference is in the packaging and stamping.

Oh that's an easy one, you just have to get creative! When the inlaws took my package, it was "fibre glass, epoxy, resin and other chemicals for boat repairs I was doing. That label is just for the epoxy and resin which are toxic if ingested. They have to put that label on there when shipping for kids and such"

Could also fly for house repairs or anything, really. Just get creative

Brilliant! For a lie to be believed itneeds to be detailed and specific lol

haha I ordered 2 crates of 7.62 x 39 from trade ex last summer and the puralator guy just left both crates on my deck with no camoflauge and the shipping lable directly on the crate lol. Its all good cuz I live in the bush with no neighbours but if I was in town it would be a different story lol... pretty clear that there is something cool inside those crates :) Its good to see that Can am is being so discrete, might get mine from them next time.

LOL, last time I ordered from CanAm my wife called me in the middle of the day to ask why did a courier just drop off a 40lb box of "canned tuna" (or something like that, I don't recall exactly).

Bravo for the creative repurposing of cardboard packaging.
