Crazy Quail Game

The crazy quail I read about says that the thrower is stationed 20 yrds from the shooter and rotates 360 degrees throwing birds at you / left and right and away from you. Also you can not see the trap to know where it will be throwing the bird. Thats why I was wondering about choke selection.

Uxbridge Shooting Sports had such a set-up in the 70's ... lots of fun, and
well-before Sporting & 5-Stand. A pit dug-out out in front with the trapper well protected. Birds were thrown from a swivel trap (360 deg.) just at ground level, and yes, every direction imagineable. Most opted for I.Cyl. or Mod. with 7-1/2's. Lots tried it with their Skeet guns and Trap guns. As I recall, the quail pit was 15 yards out. It dwindled off in the early 80's to be replaced by Sporting Clays in '87 or '88.

Hi Guys and Gals
Can someone please give me the address and website of the Woodstock Gun Club. I am from the Otter Valley Rod and Gun Club. I am helping with our sporting clays and may be interested in adding crazy quails to our course. Thanks in advance
