CRFSC Paperwood Question

Hi everyone,

I took the restricted firearms safety course with test a while back and never got around to submitting my application. I was wondering if the paperwork I got after the course expires after a certain amount of time or would I still be able to use it for my application.



Any help would be great.

I think you just need to prove that you've passed the course. Doesn't matter when you did it.

The tests results don't expire.

Anecdotal evidence:

I took the test in the Spring of 2009 and did not submit the results and application to the CFC until summer/fall 2010, maybe 14 - 15 months later. All worked out smoothly.

Test results are valid for life. The only exception is if you did something to receive a firearm prohibition order from a judge in which case when the prohibition is lifted you will have to retake the complete courses.
