I bought a bunch of "once fired" brass in 45 ACP and some of them have crimped primer pockets so I can't put another primer in there.

Anyone came up with a cheap solution like using a drill or something to remove the crimp?

You can use a reamer on a power drill to clear away the crimp.

Are you certain that you do not in fact have Winchester .45s with small primers?

Storm, I have stumbled a few of those 45 ACP brass with crimped primer pocket. The ones I have were small pistol primer NT 45 ACP brass.:eek: I have a few of those crimped P-hole brass sitting in a bin in my reloading station.

curtmg and I have discussed this here. Federal NT 45 cases have crimped-in small primers. A quick turn of a chamfering tool did the trick for me, though they were still a pain to reload.

No it's not the win nt ones with small primers. There were like 2 or 3 of them in the lot and I just threw them in the garbage.

I guess I'l have to become slightly less cheap and get myself a swage tool
