Crimped rounds for load testing

Long story short, I have about 50 rounds of .308 ready for load testing in a semi auto that I wound up selling. Now I never crimp with this being the exception. I'd like to use these rounds in my new Tikka T3 Tac as mag lengths are the same etc but will the crimp cause much issue short range ie 100 yards shooting groups?

Furthermore, if I do find a load that's worth trying should I try it no crimp or continue crimping as this rifle will be used for longer range about 30% of the time.

I wouldn't crimp for a bolt action. One less variable you have to try to control.

If I were in your shoes, I would just pull them. Yeah, it sucks, but if you are going to normally not crimp, it would be a waste of components to shoot them.
 
Since the crimp is going to affect how the ammo shoots I would not use them for determining any sort of accurate load data other than very generally. Instead it sounds like it would be good ammo to use for getting your scope set "close enough" when newly mounted and as fouling shots before shooting the serious accuracy ammo.
 
I would go ahead and shoot them as a first stage / step in load development for the T3.

You'll have some idea as to group sizes and max load limits, but the thing to do is to prepare your test load the same as your final loads would be. </Captain Obvious mode off>
