When crimping cast .44-40 loads, do you crimp in a separate step, use a special die, etc?
I've reloaded .44-40 casually for years with standard RCBS dies but I'm considering getting a special die for crimping. Generally .429 cast bullets that contain a crimping groove, in Winchester brass. I hear of pros and cons with the Lee FCD vs others and appreciate your experience.
Thanks
