Debating the purchase of a Crimson Trace laser grip for my 9. Are they worth buying or should I stick with a regular laser sight? My gun has a rail. I like the fact that the laser grip is much less bulky.

Well worth the money if you want to be the clown that nobody likes at the range. Nothing more annoying than a friggen red dot squiggling across your target when you are shooting.

Hi there

It depends. What gun do you have? I have one on the glock and the crimson trace is so high, it is really hard to rack the slide. You also said it was less bulky. Actually they add to the thickness of the grip.

If you want a laser, I would recommend getting a rail light and laser. Then you are one and done. Cheers

I had the low profile model on a glock 17 - it was very difficult to sight in even at 15 yards, added width to the grip and I sold it after the first range visit. Kind of a waste of 300+ dollars imo
