This topic may have been discussed here but apparently I have been off planet for the past year and didn't realize that Crimson Trace has picked up the Nikon rifle scope line. I sat down with the current Canadian distributor who confirmed that this relationship that Crimson Trace (mainly laser grips in the past )has been moving forward in rifle scope area and while they had some high end models already the acquisition of the Nikon line already placed well in the mid to higher end helped them fill in some missing components. We had ordered the new scopes about a year ago (I forgot) and have appeared in the last several months with good sales in our store.
I was very disappointed when Nikon stopped making scopes as they always sold well and had very little warranty issues. Crimson Trace have, according to them improved some things they felt necessary internally and of course changed external features to make them more readily recognizable (some of the knobs have diagonal grips reminding me a little of Tangent Theta). They currently offer a quality rimfire model all the way to high magnification models with FFP. What experiences are people having with these scopes? Phil.
