Critique this...shooting form.

What? Steven Seagal is a COP?

I could see that coming from a mile away :p

I will preface this by saying I hate steven segal.

I found this difficult to watch because I can't stand the guy.

Anyway...I don't know what we didn't see but that's a lousy training approach. He's so interested in his own BS he's not correcting a bunch of obvious problems. His grip isn't great but more importantly he's not fixing his deputy's grip which is terrible. I am not really hot on his stance either - although if he was doing more stuff that impressed me, maybe I'd say if it's working for him and doesn't create issues with his body armour, go for it.

But to hear LEO types talking bladed stance does set off alarm bells for me...what sort of armour are they using? I believe in general it's better to present the chest plate rather than the unprotected side...

Maybe he's a great shooter but we didn't really see it here. At that range, at that speed, making those hits is not that hard. I don't know that I'd hit a match every time with a .22 but I think I could probably take the tip off one on a regular basis. At any rate that was lousy training. Why not have the guy doing proven drills to improve him as a shooter? #### that zen BS of putting a bullet in the same hole...what a moron.
