I bought a Tikka T3 and I'm attaching a Magpul bipod but the sling stud appears to be crooked so it isn't lining up with the bipod attachment. Is this normal? Should I be trying to force it straight?

You should be able to use an appropriate sized awl/punch and turn it until it aligns properly. I’ve done this method in the past with no ill effects on either the post or stock.

thank you for asking the question and too bad for the ones that are genious and never made any mystakes related only on guns in their life ...

It's hard at times to know if it's a joke.
Sort of like, I drilled a hole and it's to small what should I do ?

Calm down folks, and be supportive, we are here to help each other, there is no such thing as a stupid question. If your not sure about something asking is better than damaging!!!

I agree, not a stupid question, on a wood stock if the stud is lacking a washer, it might be a good idea to loosen the nut inside the stock [if it's not a screw], I have seen a few rifles with a circle scratch around the stud.
