Nice pics and test. Sure would spoil a crow's day!
hey 604gil - unless you have lots of 177 to use up, Princess has .22s for $109 and free shipping. IO bought one last summer and find at about 10+ pumps its still accurate at 25 yards. I modded the pump handle with a piece of electric conduit bent into a curve and bolted in place of OEM. Really makes pumping easy, but got to finish the front end- sticks out too much. Lots of tips on canadianairguns.ca and other sites.

Thanks Buck1950! That is a good price for the 22. I will look that up. Appreciate the tip.

I ended up picking up a 1377 as it was $20 off over the 1322. I figured since I already have a 2240 and rifles in both .177 and .22, it wouldnt matter. Inexpensive indoor plinker. 2240 could be my rat hunter :)

If you guys are talking about the pump model, I used to have on many many moons ago in .22 , was reliable as F ... and never gave any issues.....
Ended up leaving it with a "friend" who never returned it, but boy, it sure is fun shooting pop cans and targets with that thing....
Fairly high powered and cheap to shoot! IIRC it says no more then 10 pumps..... Sometimes my "friends" would give it 12-13, but I don't hang around those "friends" anymore thankfully.

I truly love the concept of pump or "break action pump" pellet guns/rifles.... There is something special to be said about a VERY cheap to shoot rifle, that only needs a drop of "pellgun-oil" every now and again, and not a disposable landfill C02 (expensive) cartridge.!

Have fun and cherish it, if you have it.... Great gun to teach youngin's about firearm safety and respect with...
My father taught me about gun safety and respect with a IIRC crossman 795 single pump rifle.... 495 fps .177 , he taught me trigger discipline, muzzle control and aiming with "iron sights" with it....
I really enjoy those fond memories shooting pop cans with my father!

I had the old model and my god that thing was accurate . I would regularly hit the thin side of a playing card with it as a child.
