I have a Crosman 357 Co2 revolver that even though it is over 10 years old has had barely two magazines shot through it.

I decided to dig it out and shoot it for fun and the barrel will not unlatch to swing open.

The latch button just doesn't budge. The revolver remains locked up tight.

What could be the problem?

It has been stored in a dry cool location.

Hi. I have one of these and it's really old as well. There is a rubber pad under the latch that gets stiff and makes it hard to depress the latch. Mine hurts my thumb every time i try. I've attached a picture with the rubber pad circled.

Maybe you can find a piece of rubber to replace it with.

P.S. Let new know if your interested in selling it :) I would love another one!

I had the same problem with my Crosman 357 which sat for a lot more than 20+ years. I soaked the lever with "SuperLube" oil which worked like a charm. I use "SuperLube" grease and oil on all my toys.
